By downloading, installing, or using Journals AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Definitions

• Service refers to the Journals AI mobile application.
• User means any individual who accesses or uses the Service.
• Content refers to journal entries, text, information, or other material that users submit to the Service.
• Subscription refers to the paid access to premium features of the Service.

3. Service Description

Journals AI is a digital journaling application that provides:

• Personal journal entry creation and storage
• Cloud synchronization of journal entries
• Analytics and insights about journaling habits
• Premium features through subscription

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify me immediately of any unauthorized access

4.2 Account Termination

I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these terms
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Non-payment of subscription fees

5. Subscription Terms

5.1 Trial Period

• Free trial available for eligible users
• Trial automatically converts to paid subscription unless cancelled
• One trial per user
• No credit card required during trial

5.2 Subscription Plans

• Monthly and annual subscription options available
• Prices are subject to change with notice
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Billing occurs through Apple's App Store

5.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancel anytime through Apple App Store settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods
• Access continues until current billing period ends
• No prorated refunds for annual subscriptions

6. User Content

6.1 Content Ownership

• You retain all rights to your journal entries
• You grant me a limited license to store and process your content
• I will not access your entries except for technical support
• I will not share your content with third parties

6.2 Prohibited Content

You agree not to create or store content that:

• Violates any laws
• Infringes on others' rights
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Is explicitly inappropriate or offensive

7. Intellectual Property

• The Service and its original content are protected by copyright
• The Journals AI name and logo are my trademarks
• All rights not expressly granted are reserved

8. Privacy and Data Protection

• The Privacy Policy explains how I collect and use your data
• I implement industry-standard security measures
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• I use third-party services for specific functions

9. Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties
• I am not liable for any indirect or consequential damages
• My total liability is limited to the amount you paid
• Some jurisdictions do not allow liability limitations

10. Changes to Service

I reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features
• Update the app and require updates
• Change subscription terms with notice
• Modify these terms with notice

11. Termination

I may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• Required by law or court order
• The Service is discontinued
